Stronger U and THRIVE Lifeline are partnering to help our communities become Stronger Together! Through this partnership, we will create more free peer support communities where ongoing support can be available to people with multiply marginalized identities.

We’re excited to offer the free Stronger Together Community discord as well as Stronger Together live group meetings. If you are someone who hasn’t had the support you needed during vulnerable times, join us on March 10 at 8p GMT / 4p ET / 1p PT / 10a HT for Stronger Together: Finding each other when we’re going it alone!

Registration closes 48 hours prior to the group meeting time.

Stronger Together: Finding each other when we’re going it alone

March 10, 8p GMT / 4p ET / 1p PT / 10a HT

One of the common narratives of marginalized experiences is the sense of isolation, of rejection, and of having to “go it alone” where others might have friends or family that they can count on to support them. So many of us don’t have those people we can count on during vulnerable times in our lives, whether from being disowned, left on the margins of society, or being the only one with our identity and experiences. Join us to share your experiences, meet others who also “get it”, and deepen your connections in our Stronger Together discord server.

Facilitated by: Ryder Fox, M.S., a queer, neurodivergent, trauma survivor and coach

What to expect:

  • 5-10 minutes of introduction and group guidelines
  • 45 minutes to talk openly, respond to and connect with each other, and get peer support with the various ways you are experiencing marginalization and trauma in your life
  • Show up in whatever way feels most comfortable to you: camera on or off; speak verbally, in the chat, or not at all. Stemming and movement that grounds you is welcome.
