Survival as people who are trans takes a heavy toll on us, especially if we can’t find practitioners who understand our support needs and/or fear that we might lose access to care if people really know us. If you are looking for a non-carceral community of people who share lived experience with reclaiming gender identity and are committed to caring for each other through the ups and downs, then the 12-week Stubborn Survivors Trans Care Circles might be right for you!
Stubborn Survivors Trans Care Circles are private, closed groups of mutual care. If you join, you are agreeing to our code of conduct and to protecting confidentiality of all group members.

Typical Group Calls
What do your group coaching program calls usually look like? Programs are designed for optimal comfort and peer support while gaining the guidance of your coach. This means that no two weeks will look exactly the same, but generally our structure will be something like the following:
- Share out: We will reserve space for sitting in the heaviness that our cohort and communities are experiencing — but this will be time-limited to focus on our developing community care practice (~10 min)
- Coaching: We will review course content each week adding clarity or taking questions (~10 min)
- Deeper Dive: Group discussions will help you to apply the course content to examples in your own life and reflect on others’ perspectives (~30 min)
- Weekly commitments: What are your goals for the upcoming week? (~10 min)
Example Coaching Topics
- Defining community and finding joy
- Why is community care so difficult?
- Conscientiously choosing communities of care
